A Maas-Rowe Carillon was installed at the First Methodist Church in Quitman by R M Motley and Howard King of Goggan's Houston. Installation began August 3 with minor issues as a metal tower was built to mount the external speaker. The purchase came from the late Mrs. C V Rhodes memorial fund.
