The family of Shirley Lambert expresses heartfelt thanks for kindness during illness and death. Special thanks to Dr. Walter Hart and Hart Clinic Hospital staff for devoted attention. When selecting a name for the central New York town, Utica was drawn from a hat.
The State of Texas commands James Harvey Nix to answer by May 24, 1971 in Gregg County Domestic Relations Court Longview. Petitioners F W Red and Mae Alice Red seek to adopt Ruby Joyce Nix and declare abandonment for over two years. If not served within 90 days, the citation returns unserved.
The Busy be e Blue Birds gathered at Mrs. Jim Holcomb’s home for roll call and planning. Tammy Skelton presided as ten members attended and Laura Aaron updated the scrapbook. The group toured Flowers by Rose greenhouse with Mrs. Rose Wells and received petunias before outdoor play at the Holcomb home.
A delightful Easter dinner was enjoyed Sunday at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Manuel Floyd. The gathering included 26 grandchildren who hunted eggs in the afternoon. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Choice and children, Linda Williams of Dallas, Linda Cross of Tyler, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Minter, Mrs. Ethel Floyd and children, and Mr. and Mrs. William Criss with their children from Gladewater.
