The Adams County Community Concert Association kicks off its membership drive with a kickoff dinner at the Dobbin House attended by board members and workers. Campaign hours run at the YWCA from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. James Aumen Dies Former Fire Chief Here
James Aumen 75 of Littlestown died Monday after noon at home. Born in Gettysburg he was fire chief for 16 years and a life member of the Gettysburg Fire Department. He taught at the Blue Parrot Tea Room 1944 to 35 and worked at the Adams County Public Library the last 15 years. Survived by his wife Lot tie M Staley and son Richard Hanover.
