Two Hurt In Rt 116 Collision Near Fairfield
A Monday 9 p.m. crash on Route 116 near Fairfield left Robin McGlaughlin and Rhonda McGlaughlin with minor injuries while Steven McGlaughlin and the wife’s sister were unhurt. The car struck a pole with a school 15 mph warning sign after being blinded by an eastbound truck. McGlaughlin’s sister and wife received care at Warner Hospital. Fairfield police chief Greg Santay cited police and fire department assistance at the scene.

14 Properties Are Auctioned Monday
Forty six of 62 Adams County properties auctioned Monday brought in more than 327,600 to pay delinquent 1976 1977 and 1978 real estate taxes. The other 16 will be offered for sale next Monday at 10 am in the Law Library of the county courthouse. In five years 297 properties have been sold for delinquent county township and school district taxes, with nearly 240,000 collected.

United Way Kicks Off Drive With Big Luncheon
