Tyrone Township farmer John W Tate died this morning at about 1:40 from heat paralysis. He had been in declining health for two weeks and was a supervisor of Tyrone township. Affiliated with the Patriotic Order Sons of America and Junior Order of United American Mechanics, he belonged to the New Chester Reformed Church. Surviving are his widow Verlie Eleholty Tate a son Clair Tate Hunterstown a granddaughter and a sister Mrs Way H Coleman Hanover. Funeral from the Tate home Monday at 10 then at New Chester Reformed Church with Rev Richard Shaffer officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Tate home after 4 this Saturday.
