State Auditor General reports 374,056 66 in fire insurance tax funds allocated to four Adams County municipalities for distribution to local fire companies and pension funds. Man Injured In Route 34 Crash Near Biglerville
State police reported minor head lacerations for Settle after his 1989 Chevrolet ran off a freshly paved stretch of Route 34. The northbound car dropped off a two inch berm, crossed the highway, and struck an embankment two and a half miles north of Biglerville at 5:30 a.m. today. Police noted moderate vehicle damage and that Settle refused immediate treatment.
