Hunter wounded in accidental shooting near Fairfield
Seven Valleys man Frank J. Windon Jr. 25 suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg while deer hunting in Hamiltonian Township near Fairfield. He was in satisfactory condition at Gettysburg Hospital after the 44 caliber revolver discharged near Mount Hope Road about noon. Fairfield Ambulance transported him to the hospital. An additional ambulance conveyed a hunter reported to have heart seizure, but no name or hospital report available.
