Adams County recount opens as Pa House race awaits outcome

Man Injured After Ford Truck Crash Near Biglerville
Gregory A. Myers, 21, of New Oxford escaped injury when his 1972 Ford truck ran off RS 234 two miles east of Biglerville at 3 30 a m. Police said Myers fell asleep at the wheel, the vehicle overturned and rolled down an embankment.

Shriners Seek Funds For Hospitals In Pennsylvania
Adams County Shrine Club members distribute a special newspaper to raise funds for Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children and Burns Institutes. Sharon Kerley of Gettysburg Route 8 Herr's Ridge Road died after her car collided head-on with a tractor trailer on Route 37 Paradise Four in York County near Thomasville at 11 37 p.m Friday. The driver of the tractor trailer Glenn E Bish was treated for shock. Kerley’s body transported to York Hospital. Funeral arrangements by Monahan Funeral Home Gettysburg. She was a 1977 graduate of Deione Catholic High School and member of St Francis Xavier Church.
