Fairfield School Board weighs building options in special session

The Fairfield School Board reviewed two proposed projects with architect John Wall of Noelker and Hull. Option one calls for a new gymnasium and arts complex, option two would expand the gym, arts and music facilities, enlarge the library, convert the gym to an auditorium, and perform other renovations. Hull noted a 10,000 square foot gym is justified only with higher enrollment, and state reimbursement may cover 7,500 square feet.
