West Middle School Honors Gettysburg Hero Gen Robinson
Thirty eight students from West Middle School Binghamton NY led by Joe Card and four chaperones laid a wreath at the Gen John C Robinson statue in Gettysburg National Military Park. The group funded refurbishment through recycling drives and public donations from 50 cents to 500 dollars. Robinson commanded the Second Division First Army Corps at Gettysburg.

Littlestown Borough Council approved doubling sewer and water hook up fees from 500 to 1000 dollars retroactive to May 15. Free Gettysburg cemetery tour marks 75th anniversary
A free walking tour of Gettysburg National Cemetery will be held tonight at 7 p.m. as part of the battlefield guides 75th anniversary observance. Roy Frampton and James Cole will lead from the rostrum near the Visitor Center, covering David Wills, cemetery concepts, Lincoln myths, battlefield dead stories, a Confederate grave, the only Black Civil War soldier buried there, and unknown grave identifications.
