Granite Farm to reopen at Gettysburg this summer
Gettysburg National Military Park will reopen the Granite Farm this summer under Superintendent John R. Earnst. Beginning June 26 the farm will be open daily 2 a.m. to 5 p.m. The film The Battle of Gettysburg will be shown at the Cyclorama theater daily 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting June 19, with amphitheater programs also resuming that week. Moving the film indoors should reduce cancellations due to rain and allow more varied programs involving park interpreters and the Slyder family’s wartime farm activities.
