York youth attacked on blocking bridge with shotgun
Randall A. Yohe, 19, was struck on the head with the butt of a shotgun on a one way bridge near Edge Grove at 12 30 this morning. He was taken to Hanover Hospital in satisfactory condition for observation of head injuries. The other driver fired into Yohe’s trunk and left after a horn dispute.

Mrs. Hazel E. Wilson Dies at 76 in Hanover Nursing Home
Hazel E. Wilson 76 formerly of 55 Hanover St died Wednesday evening at 10 15 o’clock in Golden Age Nursing Home Hanover where she had lived since October. She was born in Liberty Township Adams County daughter of the late A Elmer and Amanda Rentzel. A member of St James Lutheran Church Gettysburg she was active in church programs. Surviving are her daughter Mrs Glenn W Heller Gettysburg R3 five grandchildren 10 great grandchildren two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services Saturday at 11 from Monahan Funeral Home Carlisle Street with Rev Edwin Coddington officiating. Interment Fairview Cemetery Arendtsville. Friends may call Saturday 10 to 11.

Littlestown Junior-Senior High School will reopen Friday morning under Adams County court orders after four weeks of teacher strike. Two drivers from different Groft families escaped injury after a $300 crash at Routes A5310 and 01061 half a mile south of Irishtown at 3 10 P M Wednesday.
