Endless memories mark Mount St. Marys 1990 graduates
Mount St. Marys College in Emmitsburg Maryland conferred bachelor’s and master’s degrees on 367 graduates during a 24 hour commencement at Knott Arena. Speaker Crown American Corp. President Frank Pasquerilla urged continued learning as the class received honorary degrees and celebrated with jovial moments and personal messages.

Injured pedestrian out of intensive care in Route 116 DUI case
A 19 year old Fairfield area victim was removed from intensive care at York Hospital after a Route 116 pedestrian crash last weekend. Steven Heinemann of Fortuna Calif was partially saved from losing his knee after doctors performed a below knee amputation and skin grafts. He faces weeks of hospitalization and therapy to walk again with a partial artificial leg. The driver Randall Weikert 30 of Fairfield was charged with two counts of DUI and leaving the scene.
