Upper Adams Color Day marks 25th year retirement for founder

Adams County Begins Three-Day Spy Moth Spraying

A spray program starts Friday in Mount Carmel as helicopter disperses insecticide Dylox. Stanley Wolf, coordinator, says operations begin around 5 30 a.m and will take about three days to complete spraying across designated areas of Adams County.

Mount Joy residents show interest in agricultural districts

About 20 Mount Joy Township residents attended a briefing by county agent John Schwartz on the Agricultural Area Security Act. The act creates local agricultural districts with seven year lifetimes, voluntary landowner participation, and special considerations for farming operations.
