Burned As He Puts Fuel In Tractor
A Littlestown area man suffer burn injuries when his farm tractor exploded while he was refueling at his home near Frogtown at 9 45 this morning. Earl Cool 40, operator, plans to seek treatment for burns to his right leg. Fire Chief Richard Stuller said the ignition came from heat or a spark from the turning motor. The fire caused about 300 dollars damage to the John Deere tractor engine and wiring. A passing motorist kept the blaze under control with a portable extinguisher until Littlestown firefighters arrived.
