New Oxford eyes permanent library amid bookmobile push
Residents of New Oxford plan to replace weekly bookmobile service with a permanent library. ALS program wins support for Waynesboro emergency unit
An Advanced Life Support program in Franklin County gains unanimous backing from Washington Township Supervisors with a 2400 donation. Volunteers will staff a Waynesboro Hospital based ALS unit to provide on site treatment for heart attacks strokes and shocks, with five team members training in June and certification by fall 1982. The unit will serve Waynesboro Mount Alto Washington Quincy Antrim and Greencastle townships.
