Bermuda's 1,200 civil servants vote today on accepting a contract to end their 27 day strike that shut down tourism. A yes could trigger a sympathy strike by 3,000 hotel workers, with fewer than 1,000 tourists remaining amid normal 12,000.
About 15,000 of 23,200 Feb 21 test takers saw score boosts from one to four points after discarding a geometry problem. 1,600 had no change while 6.6Deleted lost three to six points.
Police Chief John Toomey in Silver Springs Township used a foil tipped hair dryer on a cardboard tube painted black to resemble a radar gun to deter speeders on Route 11.
