McSherrystown House Destroyed By Fire

McSherrystown two story home on Fourth Street was gutted by flames Sunday evening as about 40 firefighters from McSherrystown and Midway fought the blaze. Owner James Gross woke up to heavy smoke and escaped from a second story window with a cut finger. his wife and three daughters were away. Neighbors alerted residents and a neighbor tried to spray the first floor with a garden hose.

Sheltered Workshop may start charging some clients
