State Police arrest two in multiple burglaries in Adams County

Pennsylvania State Police at Gettysburg report arrests in two burglaries tied to 1979 and 197's. Harold Wayne Everly, 41, of Hagerstown Maryland, arrested Friday at 4 30 p m on a warrant for the Fairfield AMVETS post burglary with over 4500 dollars in items including cash and a scanner taken and the safe pried open. Robert E Toner, 22, Gardners Route 2, arrested Friday with search warrant. charged with two counts each of burglary theft and conspiracy plus theft by receiving possession of marijuana and possessing a prohibited offensive weapon. Evidence tied to April 24 and 30 break ins at Bendersville Elementary School with about 1000 dollars in property including typewriters cameras calculators and other items stolen. Toner committed to Adams County Prison on 25000 dollar bail. Former Pa Bar President to Speak at Law Day Event
