Vaughn F. Crago of Biglerville survived a weekend crash on Pa Route 94 in Reading Township when his 21988 Peterbilt and 1974 Monon trailer left the road in foggy conditions striking 50 feet of PennDOT guard rail and sliding into Conewago Creek. Crago, trapped briefly, was listed in satisfactory condition at Hanover General Hospital. About 100 gallons of diesel leaked into the stream as cleanup crews from DEP and PennDOT, with contractor help, worked to contain the spill. The R F. Truesdell Co. truck sustained severe damage.
