Rochester man Ray Then, 37, reported a four point deer leaped into his moving camper trailer on RS 35 north of Gettysburg at 3 16 this morning. Police said the deer struck a front window as Then traveled south on Rt 15. He and his Gem Cam trailer were escorted to Gettysburg where state police and Game officials removed the animal.

A blaze at the home of Carroll Parr on Lake Road near School House Rd in Thomasville, 60 firefighters from Adams and York counties battled flames for about three hours. The Gettysburg bicentennial commission and Grand Army of the Reunion Inc plan a three day Civil War pageant on Route 30 five miles east of Gettysburg.
