A Littlestown driver, Dorothy Louise Myers, 48, is listed in satisfactory condition at Warner Hospital after her car rolled over and was demolished against a Route 116 telephone pole during a thunderstorm. Father shoots son in Mt Joy hunting mishap
An 11 year old boy remains in serious condition at York Hospital after a hunting accident in Mt Joy Two near the Hoffman Home. Michael Wagaman and his father John Wagaman were woodchuck hunting when the 22 caliber rifle discharged striking the boy. The Gettysburg Fire Company ambulance responded, but he was driven to Hanover Hospital and later transferred to York Hospital for treatment.

Foreign Car Torn In Half In Conewago Two Accident
A 21 year old Hanover man James Meckley escaped serious injuries when his Renault convertible was torn in half in a collision with a GMC pickup on Edge Grove Road near Sacred Heart Basilica Conewago Two. Meckley suffered facial and scalp lacerations and was treated at Hanover Hospital. The other driver John Granholt Jr 21 of New Oxford faced damage to his 1968 GMC pickup. Police say steering failure caused the Westbound car to cross the center line.
