Littlestown approves 28 mill tax hike and budget

The Littlestown Board of Education adopted a $9.2 million budget for 1990-91 with a 7-1 vote. The package adds about 160 to the average property tax bill and raises real estate taxes by 28 mills plus a 4.5 percent occupational assessment increase. The board trimmed reserves and salaries to save funds, while denying a $2,000 band camp request. Robert A. Hahn was reelected treasurer.

Opposition grows over Apple Park Village mobile home plan
