The Central Pennsylvania Synod of the Lutheran Church in America approved 336000 for Gettysburg Seminary and adopted a camping philosophy guiding year round, parish wide programs. Meeting at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove the Synod approved a 4853399 budget for the coming year with major allocations to the Seminary Commission on the Ministry and camping programs at Nawakwa and Kirchenwald.

Adams County sent 14 delegates aged 13 to 15 to the 4 H Congress at Penn State University State College Pa Monday through Thursday with 5 more 4 H members at a concurrent Leadership school. Two Men Injured In Crashes Today
State police report two drivers injured in separate crashes. Frank Forney Jr., 41, Gardners RI, treated at Warner Hospital for facial injuries after his car hit a bridge wall on Route 116 three miles west of town at 4 50 this morning. Jay Frederick Kimmel, 27, Camp Hill, refused treatment at Hanover Hospital for minor injuries from a crash on Route 394 two miles east of Hampton at 3 10 a.m. today. A 1967 Ford sedan driven by Marlin Shorb, Fairfield Route 2, a Gettysburg Times motor route driver, burned at the carburetor in front of the Emmitsburg firehall, causing about 100 dollars in damage Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Orner Retires After 35 Years at Warner Hospital
