Royal Thai scientists visit for pest control training in Gettysburg
Seven agriculturists from the Royal Thai government completed a week long session at Ag Rotors Aerial Spray School in Gettysburg. Adams County Tax Claim Bureau mails 2100 delinquent notices
Daniel J. Wolff, director, said the agency sent 2100 delinquent real estate tax notices totaling 242,143 to county property owners. Delinquencies include 93,111 from school districts, 38,027 county taxes, and 11,005 township taxes. Many arise from 1970 1972. The bureau, formed January by county commissioners under Act 542 of 1949, handles liens for county and other districts. Unpaid taxes are turned over each January for collection.

Two More Vending Machines Robbed on Campus
Borough police report four vending machine burglaries at Gettysburg College campus yesterday morning at 10 30. Two candy and two cigarette machines in different buildings were entered Thursday night. No exact loss yet, but police expect light amounts since people are present on campus. Machines owned by Servomation Corp Hanover. This brings this week’s total to six vending machine burglaries.
