An area teen was injured when a southbound car driven by 18 year old Steven C Witt ran off a wet road, struck a tree, and overturned near Little Round Top. Harrisburg reports the Pennsylvania Senate confirmed three four year terms on the Weather Modification Board. Edmund R. Hill of Gettysburg Roy S. Lightning Breaks Two Light Poles on Iron Springs Road
Lightning struck two electric poles on Iron Springs Road a mile west of Fairfield at 12 10 this morning breaking crossarms and snapping poles six feet from the top. Fairfield firefighters coordinated with Metropolitan Edison crews to restrung the line and likely replace the poles today. Traffic was rerouted during repairs. No power disruptions were reported and PennDOT said no downed trees or overflowing creeks were observed despite ongoing storms.

Mennonite DVBS Schedules Closing on June 29

Reuben Showers, 48, of Gettysburg, was listed in satisfactory condition at Warner Hospital after a fall on Route 30 near Green's Mobile Home Sales east of town. Police say he suffered injuries to the forehead right leg and shoulder and was taken by fire company ambulance. A York motorist witnessed the incident.
