The one year funded program will survey social service agencies to assess needs and may open a northern Adams County office to serve transient and year round Hispanics. Robber women held up Arendtsville High store Sunday night
A small woman with a handgun robbed the Arendtsville High store shortly after 10 p.m. The unidentified suspect demanded money, fled in a brown two door Chevrolet with a second male accomplice described as brown haired and glasses. A clerk reported the robber appeared about 20 years old, five feet tall, 80 to 90 pounds, wearing a black and red hunting vest and a tack hat with black makeup smeared on her face. Police searched the area for the car and suspects, which were seen heading north out of Arendtsville.
