Adams County crime experts urged police and fire personnel to leave crime scenes undisturbed and to pursue every clue. Assistant District Attorney Martha Jean Duvall stressed the importance of initial observations, while pathologist Dr. John Crispen warned misperceptions can mislead investigations and urged careful on scene work and collecting evidence including hands and clothing for later analysis.

Intersection work begins at Routes 30 and 94 in Cross Keys

Detours begin as Phase 1 closes Route 94 north of Cross Keys and Route 30 stays single lane. A 5.2 mile detour via Berlin Road Carlisle Street and Hanover Road reroutes traffic to Hanover and back to Route 94. Phase 2 closes Route 94 at the southern end with Hanover Road detours to New Oxford circle. Project by Robert A. Kinsley Inc. costs 532215 dollars, finishing mid September.
