A head on collision on Route 15 near Route 434 left three people dead. Kyle D. Carey, 20, of Mount Pleasant Millis, and Carl T. Rittenburg, 71, of Forest City, were driving north and south respectively. Rittenburg his wife Cecilia and passenger Lillian Shick died at the scene. The crash caused Route 15 to narrow to one lane for about two hours as responders cleared debris. State police from Gettysburg assisted Cumberland Township Police in the investigation.
