Trucker Escapes Injury In Route 30 Crash At Seven Stars
A Duncannon trucker, William Dick, 32, escaped serious injury when his eastbound tractor trailer ran off Route 30 at Seven Stars at 4 a.m. today, clipped the Marsh Creek bridge, and tumbled down a 20-foot embankment. He reported back and leg pains but will seek medical follow up. Damages were about $8,500. The rig, en route from Harrisburg to Hanover, was recovered around 8:40 a.m. by Hanover crane operator Gary Eisenhart with two tow trucks from Lady and Taylor and Singley’s of Gettysburg. traffic was restored to the partially blocked highway.

David E. Myers longtime East Berlin High School electronics teacher and notary public from Reading Two died Monday at Hanover General Hospital after 12 years of illness.
