The skydive will be donated with a $150 insurance fund supported by $10 donations from retailers. The event features flea market stalls, Civil War skirmish, a large downtown parade, and Kiddies night with Don Steele.

Charnita Inc Ordered to Integrate Sales and Hire Practices
A federal court in Scranton ordered Charnita Inc of Fairfield Pennsylvania to actively promote sales in black neighborhoods and recruit a fully integrated workforce. The consent decree requires advertising in predominantly black newspapers for six months and aiming at at least 15 percent black purchasers, applying to current and future developments nationwide.

She will represent the town in Adams County Queen Contest and plans to study dental hygiene at Temple University. First runnerup was Sannee Lou Sanders, with a trophy and 50 dollar bond. second runnerup Cynthia Ann Warner received a trophy and 25 dollar bond.
