Enrollment for Summer School Set at Gettysburg High
Plans announced by Assistant Principal Patrick D McDermitt outline Gettysburg Area Senior High School summer sessions running June 18 to July 30. Two hour daily courses total 60 hours with option to take up to four hours daily. $30 per course for district residents and $35 for non residents. Enrichment courses in psychology and typing require minimum 10 students and cost 60 or 70 dollars respectively. Make up courses tentatively listed include various algebra biology civics and history courses.

Taneytown Driver Seriously Hurt in Route 194 Crash
A Taneytown motorist, Thomas Bowers, 26, is in serious condition at York Hospital after his 1966 Chevrolet coupe left Route 194 near Littlestown, struck guard rails, and overturned. His 8 year old daughter Kelly was uninjured. Bowers was treated first at Warner Hospital and then admitted to ICU. The car was a total loss valued at $900.
