Miners Resume Work After 72-Day Coal Strike

Goodling touts effective human rights stance for bankers

19th district Republican William F. Goodling told Adams County Bankers Association at Stonehenge Restaurant near Gettysburg that the present administration handles human rights effectively. He urged a quiet, lower level diplomacy, urged restraint on aid to right wing regimes, and introduced handgun control bills. Israeli Planes Hit Iraq Nuclear Reactor Outside Baghdad

Israeli warplanes attacked and destroyed Iraq's 70 megawatt nuclear research reactor near Baghdad, Saturday. Old Gettysburg College Freshman G Book from 1927-28 warned students not to treat college life as a four year loaf. The handbook lists “don’ts” and “college customs” including beanies, hats and ties, no smoking on campus, and strict conduct rules.
