Beginners Band To Give Concert at H Edgar Riegle Auditorium
The Beginners Band of Get tysburg Area School District will present an informal concert Tuesday at 7:20 p.m. in the H Edgar Riegle auditorium of the Junior High School. Director Robert G Zeigler says about 1060 young musicians will take part, most starting music instruction in December 1972. Zeigler will be assisted by his son John, a senior music education student at Eastman School of Music.

Sunday evening 120 Bigierville High School graduates received diplomas in a ceremony at the high school auditorium. New Oxford Square Plot Hits Are Reported Again
New Oxford police report a Hanover driver, Gilbert Utz, 23, damaged his 1973 Volkswagen when it struck the circle in New Oxford at 2 30 Saturday morning. Police say the car hit a fence toppled a PennDOT sign and a tree, with damages about 2300 to the car and 75 to the square. A separate Friday incident on Lincolnway East involved a horse trailer towed by Janet Bartlett, 36, Gettysburg Route 4, struck by a passing Agway truck driven by John Todt, 22, New Oxford Route 2, causing 180 damage to the trailer and 50 to the truck. the trailer was empty.

A Class of 1926 project to beautify the landscape around a small lake on the west side of Gettysburg College campus was dedicated Saturday afternoon during Alumni Commencement Weekend. Eight Car Crashes Leave Ten Injured Across Weekend
State police probe eight weekend traffic crashes on county roads. Two Ohio residents were injured when their 1971 Mustang slammed into PennDOT guard rails on Route 15 in Straban Twp. Koeberle, 21, of Akron, was treated for head and nose injuries. passenger Jeanne Weidunz, 19, of Wadsworth, treated for ankle knee and nose injuries. The car suffered about 300 dollars damage to rails and 2000 dollars vehicle value. A Littlestown area woman Ernestine Kraft, 34, and her two children Lisa Skaggs, 9, and Martin Skaggs, 10, were treated for injuries after their car crashed into an embankment near Bonneauville. Kraft was treated for multiple abrasions. Skaggs children for lacerations and abrasions before discharge. A separate crash involving Mrs Kroft’s eastbound Ford station wagon crossed an embankment after veering off route and was a total loss. Injured were taken to Hanover and McSherrystown area hospitals.

Mrs Helen White executive director of the county Red Cross chapter said the local disaster fund is 572 dollars short of its 1029 dollar goal and urged local supporters to aid in national relief programs for flood and storm disaster areas in the southern and middle states.
