Walt Disney Productions and the China Film Co-production Corp will jointly shoot a circle-vision film on the wonders of China for a Special theater at Disney World in Florida, according to Xinhua.
National AP wires report Janice Granata, 23, gave birth to quintuplets at Toledo Hospital. Doctors say she is in good condition after delivery. Dr John Duhring led the delivery and noted the use of a fertility drug.
The Warner Hospital Auxiliary donated 90000 to the hospital building fund at a Monday meeting. Sandra Beauchat handed the check to hospital president William D Myers and noted the total raised during her term. A 500 scholarship was awarded to Jennifer Maye for nursing education at Carlo College.
Emmitsburg officials await word from state authorities on a borough finances probe that began after a savings account passbook was found in the town office safe. The passbook covers January 1978 to March 1980 with withdrawals totaling thousands of dollars, spurring an investigation led by the Office of the State Prosecutor in Towson.

New Oxford borough council reversed an April denial and agreed to sanction fire company fund raising events for workers compensation insurance as required by state law. The move, led by solicitor Catherine Gault, covers all five events including duties beyond the borough, and aims to limit liability while ensuring legal compliance.
Taneytown voters elected incumbents Gary Abrecht and Phyllis Singel to four-year terms and chose David B. Reasner III for the third seat in a single-issue election. Turnout was 41.5 percent with 284 of 685 ballots cast from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at city hall. Reasner, partner in Mason-Dixon Auto Parts, will replace George Hemler. Singel is a four-year council member and Maryland Municipal League director. Abrecht serves on police and utilities committees and works for the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn. A reorganizational meeting will occur Monday at 7 p.m.
