Gettysburg honors Black veterans with Memorial Day tribute

A crowd of about 100 gathered at Lincoln Cemetery in Gettysburg to honor 37 Black veterans buried there, including Civil War veteran Lloyd F. A. Watts. Caesar Romero of Biglerville led the procession, paying tribute to ancestors and comrades forgotten for years as the cemetery, once neglected, was restored by Concerned Citizens and local officials.
