Stolen truck recovered after quarry plunge into water
Police, aided by divers Howie Kessel and Jeff Robbins, recovered a stolen truck from quarry waters southeast of Fairfield. The salvage operation involved a crane, two firefighting crews, and six hours of work to move the vehicle about 400 feet from beneath a 75 foot cliff.
