Lincoln statue planned for Gettysburg by J S Johnson Jr
Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania selects sculptor J Seward Johnson Jr to craft a life sized Abraham Lincoln statue to be placed on Lincoln Square near the Wills House in November 1991. A fundraising drive aims to raise 100000 for the statue and a maintenance fund, with 35000 already pledged and 65000 more sought.
