Two Are Injured In Monday Accident
Two motorists were injured in a collision causing major damage to a pickup truck and a car at the intersection of Two Ri Street and the Gettysburg Hunterstown Road, about a mile east of here. Patricia A Hawn, 31, of Gettysburg R4, drove a 1973 Ford pickup. Hennena A Gielen, 68, of Gettysburg R6, drove a 1976 Pontiac. They were treated at Warner Hospital and transported by New Oxford Fire Company ambulance with assist from Gettysburg firemen and local firemen at the scene. Police said Hawn pulled her southbound pickup from a stop sign on Two Ri Street and entered Gielen’s path.

Burglary Reported At Kennies With $14000 Loss
State Police say burglars cut telephone wires disabled an alarm, pried a window, and damaged a front door to enter the store. Four grey York portable safes containing cash and chocolate milk were stolen from Kennies between 6 30pm Sunday and 6am Monday. The 1978 Econline Ford van used in the theft was abandoned after the thieves hot wired it, damaging the transmission.
