SPCA Seeks 75 000 For Adams County Animal Shelter

Adams County SPCA has mailed 24000 brochures in a fund drive to raise 75000 for the county's first animal shelter. The plan targets 3135,000 more to fund a shelter capable of handling 3500 animals annually. Donations of 5 or more gain a yearly membership. other gifts fund kennels cages plaques or equipment. Gettysburg Recreation Department highlights a busy week with swimming and film showings at the Majestic Theater, a Gong Show hosted by Meade School and supervised by Miss Sue Hallman.
