New Oxford councilman backs library in old school

Upper Adams board approves sale of small land parcel

The Upper Adams School Board approved selling a 20 by 289 foot strip from the Bendersville Elementary property to Rampike Industries Limited for 1000 dollars with no other bids. The land will support a sewer system for the new Bendersville Post Office. Board members noted limited use but valued the bid at about 15000 dollars per acre.
