Two Adams County Hunters Face Assault Charges
Two Adams County deer hunters bound over to court on assault and reckless endangerment charges from a Dec 11 incident. Rickey Forsythe pointed a high powered rifle at a state trooper and threatened to kill him, while his father John Forsythe allegedly hindred arrest and tried to strike the officer with a rifle butt. The trooper fired no shots as Forsythe pursued him, and a threat was issued as officers pursued a fleeing juvenile.

Julie Roth and her daughters Terressa and Tabitha escaped unharmed as smoke and water affected the building and business. the owners estimate reopening in one or two days.

Jamie Haskins son of Dottie and Richard Haskins of Gettysburg played Horatio in Hamlet Thursday night at Gettysburg College. A 1981 Gettysburg High School graduate, he interned with Circle Repertory Theater for a year, studied four years at the College of Wooster, then auditioned for the National Shakespeare Company and has toured with them for over a year. He now resides in New York City.
