Anti abortion rally draws county group from Adams County
Washington AP Thousands of anti abortion demonstrators including a group from Adams County gathered in the capital to mark the ninth anniversary of the Supreme Court abortion decision. DeLone Catholic High School students from McSherrystown joined the march with seven adults led by Shirley Geaghan of Line to Life Adams County. The event featured a noon Ellipse rally and a march to the Capitol, with red roses to Congress and calls for a constitutional amendment defining life at conception. A separate AP NBC News poll found 75 percent oppose such an amendment, 19 percent favor, and 6 percent unsure.
