Snow laden Adams County roofs gave way amid a week of heavy storms. At Phil's Country Market York Springs two men, John Smith and Lloyd Spertzel, were treated for arm injuries after the store roof collapsed under two feet of snow. Damages and other collapses across the county were reported, including sheds and a barn, with livestock losses and a foundry fire spurred by the incidents.
