Franklin Township lifts ban on water use
Franklin Township Munici pal Authority ended outdoor water restrictions as temperatures rose into the 40s and snow thaw renewed supplies. Secretary treasurer Janet Hartman said a nearly full reservoir allowed removal of limits for about 248 Cashtown customers. Reservoirs hold 20 000 gallons each with 30 inches capacity. If the water table falls again the ban could return.
