South Central Community Action Program will distribute 600 packages of surplus American cheese in Adams County. Distribution runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the former High Street School in Gettysburg. Eligibility requires a welfare, food stamp, SSI, or medical assistance card. Each family may receive one pack. housebound delivery available. If cheese remains, a second date may be announced.
