Cole Outlines Proposed Unit To Study Fraud In Medicaid

State Rep. Kenneth J. Cole outlined a plan on Update Harrisburg to fund a Medicaid Fraud Investigation unit in the Pennsylvania Department of Justice aimed at nursing homes laboratories and physicians. He noted Medicaid totals near 1.2 billion with federal support covering about half and urged safeguards against improper siphoning while highlighting related adoption act amendments and a slate of bills and resolutions before the House.

Badly Burned While Stoking Stove Today

Howard Shultz of Biglerville was badly burned while stoking a stove this morning. He was taken by Fire Co. ambulance to Warner Hospital and then transferred to Hershey Medical Center in guarded condition.

Joint Service Ash Wednesday at Christ Chapel Gettysburg

A joint Ash Wednesday service will be held at Christ Chapel on Wednesday at 7 30 pm withOfficiants including Richard Unger St James Lutheran Church Sarajens Kerr of a Lutheran Church and Donald Olson Christ Seminary Gettysburg College.
