Husband Of Shot Victim Succumbs
Frederick Stalb died at 2 o clock this morning at the Adams county home from a complication of diseases. He had been in a serious condition since early in the month after his 12 year old son accidentally shot Mrs. Stalb through the cheek at the Stalb home on Thanksgiving Day. Mrs. Stalb, 41, was treated at Warner hospital and discharged to return home. Mer Stalb is survived by his widow and one son from his second marriage and several children from his first. The body will be shipped to Glasgow, Cambria county, Wednesday for burial.

Frank L. Keim, 36, of Reading, released from York county jail after five months for passing worthless checks, is re arrested for a $15 plus check to E M Wolf York Springs garage proprietor. Two Seriously Hurt In Grase Accident Near Waynesboro
Two people were critically injured when their car skidded into a tree on the Leitersburg pike near Waynesboro Monday at 7 am. Patrolman Sitler Discharged After Motorcycle Accident
Patrolman R W Sitler of the state highway patrol sub-station injured when his motorcycle skidded on Harrisburg road last Thursday was discharged from the Palyclinic hospital Harrisburg Monday evening and returned to Gettysburg. In Bellaire Ohio on December 31 AP reports Chief Moran said Donnie Schroeder age four admitted his mother Irene Schroeder fired the shot that killed Corporal Brady Paul of the Pennsylvania State Highway Patrol near New Castile Pennsylvania. The boy named two men as companions and described a bandit automobile. Police took relatives for questioning and located the boy with an uncle.

Rochester report says Winifred Shields 35 posed as a two man to help her husband James 45 and two of their six children steal from Ernest Stott store. Fired on fleeing robbers, Stott killed Shields. James Shields and two sons 17 and 16 were arrested at the scene.
