Barbara Kaufman of Adams County to lead the 1979 Adams County Heart Fund campaign as general chairman. Court To Launch New Courthouse in Adams County
Adams County will open its new courthouse for court sessions next month with two courtrooms ready in January. Architect Harold Frederick reported the first two courtrooms will be usable while the remainder of the building may not be occupied yet. Judge Oscar F. Spicer will preside in courtroom one, with visiting Judge John A. Cherry in courtroom two. Jurors with Jan 15 and Jan 22 trials are instructed to report to the fourth floor.

Fire from overheated pipe damages Carroll Valley home
