Man Dies While He's Party Santa
Charles H. Clarke Jr. 51 of Fairfield previously Thurmont died Sunday while playing Santa at a Christmas party in Charnita where he worked. He was son of Mrs Ambrosia Derwall and the late Charles H. More Snow Is Promised In County After Night Storm

A Gardners area man sustained minor injuries in a trio of weekend auto mishaps on borough streets. Roland D. Klinger of Gardners was taken to the Gettysburg hospital by the fire department ambulance after colliding with a parked car on York Street. He was treated for a head bruise and released. The crashes involved a 1963 Oldsmobile driven by Klinger and a 1964 Chevrolet owned by Eva M. Blanchard of Gettysburg R.1, with damages estimated at 600 and 300 to Blanchard’s car respectively. Police also investigated a 400 collision at Lincoln Avenue and Carlisle Street in which Barry Towers of Biglerville R.1 will face a charge for failing to keep left of center while turning. Towers’ westbound vehicle struck Phyllis M. Warren Felt’s auto on Carlisle Street.
